Where it works

Sage and olive are the easy greens: they sit behind wood, brass and most paint colours without argument, so Sage Magnolia and Dogwood Branch go into living rooms, bedrooms and halls alike. The dark greens want a room that can take drama. Gold Finches, gold birds and moths on a near-black teal, and Engraved Peony, cream peonies in a charcoal thicket, suit a dining room or a library. Picking between the designs
