Choosing teal wallpaper

Where it works

Deep teal is the friendliest of the dark colours, cooler than burgundy and warmer than navy, and it works in daylight where black would not. Teal Daisy and Wild Daisy, meadows painted on mottled plaster grounds, suit a bedroom or a living room with white woodwork. Dusk Meadow grows upward from its base, so it needs full height, behind a bed or up a stair. The near-black teals, Gold Finches and Bronze Botanical, want lamplight: a dining room, a bar or a study. Picking between the designs
